Hello my loaf-ly friends!

Just a little update that batch 1 (subscription between 18th Dec to 9th Jan) of January's mail has been mailed and is on the way to you! Batch 2 will be mailed on 20th Jan.

January's Mail theme is in celebration of Lunar New Year. This year is the year of the horse. Hence, the postcard print and stickers have a little horse to represent this month's theme. 

The mini sticker sheet also have 2 other drawings that has memories of my childhood during Lunar New Year. I would always have the white rabbit sweet during my visits to my Grandmother's house and my parents, uncles and aunts would play mahjong till the next morning during this period. This was really long ago (more than 20 years) but it's still etched in my memory like it was yesterday. 

I also made some fortune cat stickers and hope that they will bring you good fortune for the new year!

Once again, thank you for allowing me to share this little part of my life with you and for giving me the opportunity to share my art with you. I never believed that I could reach this day where I would be sending my drawings to more than 60 of you. It truly is a dream come true and I hope your dreams come true too. 

Hello my loaf-ly friends!

Thank you for being here for my very first post. I wanted to begin this little journey by sharing the stories behind my December and January prints. These two pieces carry so much warmth and nostalgia for me, and I hope you’ll feel a bit of that magic too.

December has always been my favourite time of year. Growing up, we didn’t have winter, but the cooler weather, mall decorations, and sparkling Christmas lights around town made everything feel magical. Holiday music filled the air, Christmas movies played on TV, and my heart always felt warm despite the cool weather. Now that I’m older, I find myself staying indoors more, so my December art print captures what I imagine that warmth would feel like. Cozy, calm, and shared with someone you love.

My January print is dedicated to Animal Crossing: New Horizons (ACNH), after hearing the news that Nintendo will be releasing the 3.0 update in January 2026. ACNH  holds a very special place in my heart. It arrived right when the Covid-19 circuit breaker began, and it became a comforting way to stay close to friends. It was also when my digital art journey truly began. This new update makes me want to revisit my little island, but I’m not sure if I’ll have the time to really commit. Would you return?
